Cinque Terre!

Ok, I am going to be lazy and not write much. We went to Cinque Terre (five lands) last weekend. We hiked through the five beautiful towns- Monterosso al Mare, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola, Riomaggiore.

I know you have all been wondering about all of the hot Italian men I've been meeting. Unfortunately this is a Spanish fellow, but still very good looking. I was lucky enough for him to sit next to me on the train ride there.

Our tour guide Remey was the coolest. Please note that he's Italian and even HE is supporting Obama. He was making fun of Mckenzie in this picture because she had fifteen cameras and said she looked like she was from Japan. So they did the classic Japanese pose.




Climbing on the rocks for a photo opp...totally not worth it because I about fell.







Shout out to Kaley Bangston :). Hopefully this will make it in the Valley









We had appetizers and wine at this little restaurant.


Pesto is famous in Cinque Terre, so of course we had to try some!



We knew there were several more Iowa State people studying in Florence and we found them!

And Abbey drove us there!!

We all tried on Remey's glasses, and Mckenzie's picture was by far the best. She looks like a crabby librarian.

Sorry it was so short, but give me a break, we have midterms next week and I have one test. I know, it's a hard life here in Italy. Plus I was re-reading my last post and almost every sentence had an error, so maybe less is more??

To sum it all up, Cinque Terre was by far the most beautiful place I have ever been. And I suggest if you ever make it to Italy, Cinque Terre is a must.
